January through the end of March, affords a venue for
multiple events, including Calistoga's own contribution:
Mustard Mud & Music on Saturday, March 6, when cool tunes &
hot jazz take over the town. The Napa Valley Marathon, known
as the "biggest little marathon in the West," boasts one of
the most beautiful courses in the world. The course runs the
length of the Napa Valley, beginning in Calistoga, and
winding south along the historic Silverado Trail to finish
at Vintage High School in Napa. Except for the last
half-mile, the entire course is rural. Runners are treated
to panoramic views of the valley, flowering fruit trees, and
dormant vineyards carpeted with golden mustard flowers.

Baroque and Neoclassic styles. Weekly tours are offered

September. The Vintage Rally Group holds their annual Run in
the Wine Country starting and finishing in Calistoga. This
late fall event, following the wine crush, is open to
speedsters and open cars 1906-1940. The winter Tractor
Parade offers a country-style twist on the traditional
Christmas parade, with farm machinery dressed to the nines
in bright lights and tinsel. Another reason to visit the
Wine Country off-season: winter brings the Calistoga
Soroptimist Annual Crab Feed and Dance, featuring an auction
as well as dancing to live music.
